Mercedes-Benz
We need to ask ourselves the question: how
can we individuals be greener, become more environmentally conscious? It starts
with our personal possessions. Our carbon footprint reflects our lifestyle, how
environmentally conscious we really are. The choice of car has a great impact.
You have an enormous amount of cars, all with different features, prices and
emissions. Let’s take a look what Mercedes-Benz has to offer.
The first car in history was a
Mercedes-Benz. They are well known for the high quality, high comfort and
amazing driving skills. Offcourse, those cars are rather expensive. You have
different types of Mercedes-Benzes. The cheapest type is the A Class. You can
buy the car with basic options, started from £18.970 or 24.926€
or 32.500$. For this price, you have the A class without any options. Your
price can easily increase with 10000€ for options, for example a stronger
engine. As you can see, this brand is quite expensive.
Nowadays, brands
need to think about the environment. Mercedes-Benz created the BlueEffeciency label. The brand does everything possible to ensure sustainability
and environmental compatibility for the further developing of its passenger
cars. There are already over 85 Mercedes-Benz models available with BlueEfficiency
technologies.
But what is
BlueEfficiency?
1.
Vehicles with exceptionally efficient internal
combustion engines
2.
Vehicles with intelligent hybrid technology
3.
Locally emission-free electric cars with battery
or fuel-cell drive
So with those 3
green positive options, Mercedes-Benz is taking a multi-lane route to more
environmentally compatible and ultimately zero-emission vehicles for
sustainable mobility with great variety.
The greatest thing
about this car is that it looks normal. Previously, electric cars looked like
space cars. Nobody likes those ridiculously looking cars. Hopefully other
brands will get the hint, and create their original models with an electric
motor. Maybe that’s the future for all the vehicles? Let’s hope so.
